April 25 is Parental Alienation Awareness day. The Nanaimo Men’s Resource Centre is hosting a 40 minute awareness session at their Nanaimo location. Parental Alienation happens after a separation or divorce when a child becomes aligned with unjustified or exaggerated denigration of the other parent. We want Parental Alienation to be identified as an important factor in separation and divorce and to provide people with information on what Parental Alienation is and how to stop this form of family violence and child abuse. If you cannot attend and would like more information please contact us.

For the first time in Costa Rica, the Bubbles of Love event will take place to show our support to the law proposal 18595 know as well as the Law against Parental Violence. Bring your kids, family and friends and show that children's best interests must come first. Bubbles will be blown starting at 9 a.m. to show that just like bubbles, LOVE cannot and should not be contained.

The day is organised by Fathers for Children association. This is a gender-neutral happening. Talks will hopefully be given by many associations for children and by politicians with an interest in children's welfare. Support for the bills aiming at forbidding parental alienation will be shown support for. (Last year these aims were fulfilled. The public TV company even broadcasted the event in its main evening news.)

April 25th, 2013 has been proclaimed as Parental Alienation Awareness Day and Bubbles of Love Day in San Diego, Poway, and Coronado, California! Come show your LOVE and support in Balboa Park at the Pepper Grove Playground from 10 am to 2 pm for the alienated children and families that are victims of this form of emotional abuse in high conflict divorced/separated families.
We will start blowing bubbles of LOVE from 12 pm for 10 minutes to show that LOVE, just like bubbles, should float freely to and from the children by BOTH parents!
We will also have a guest speaker, Karen Mendelson Lebow, LCSW. She is the founder of the International Support Network for Alienated Families, and is published in the clinical guidebook "Working with Alienated Children and Families".
Please spread the word of this FREE family friendly, pet-friendly event! Bubbles will be provided! We will raffle off prizes and have Panda Abuzz help out with making the biggest and best bubbles ever!
